Presents

The Red-Carpet Film Premier of

The Movie for the Anthony Brightly ‘Sticks Man’ Record&4Deuce’s Movie, ‘Yes Man’ This film premier will see history in the making when five generations quite literally bring music and film together at the luxurious Genesis Cinema – LND. “My aim is to tell our story while creating a cohesion between my generation of the 50s/60s and the Millennials,” said Anthony Brightly, the executive director of this auspicious event and original member of the chart-topping British Reggae Band ‘Black Slate’. “And” Anthony explains; “The best way I thought I could achieve this, is through music and film.

”“From making my record ‘Stick Man’ in the 70s to directing it’s biopic, I realized that the Millennials all possess the same ambitions while still facing similar obstacles and growing pains as my generation and our parents before us, even though we are decades apart”. “Working with Director Daniel Glenn-Barbour of 4Deuce films was great! He had already made a few short movies which depict the lives of the current generation. He used unknown actors who are all so talented which also made the legendary actress Judith Jacob of the BBC’s ‘East Enders’ fame, proud to work with this young bright cast.” Anthony enthused; “It is just brilliant to see Keon Martial-Philip play the antagonist in ‘Yes Man’ to now see him play an innovator in ‘Stick Man’.

”The event will also consist of a Q&A session hosted DJ Elayne Smith plus a five generation DJ line up with Sir George Sound, Special Touch, Heartless Crew, The Original Supa D, Sir Corey and Dimpz N Lawz.
‘Stick Man’ Synopsis Cert 18The record ‘Stick Man’ is an anti-robber man song which was originally recorded as a Dub Plate for exclusive use on the Sir George Sound System back in the 70s. This biopic of the record tells the story of it going from a Dub Plate to it now being a dance hall anthem. The journey wasn’t easy as friends fall out along the way.
‘Yes Man’ Synopsis Cert 18In the struggle to find his place amongst friends, Darrell misses the real journey of finding his place within himself.
